FEBRUARY VACATION WEEK AT LOON MOUNTAIN RESORT
FAMILY EVENTS, NIGHT SKIING/SNOWBOARDING, APRES PARTIES
Lincoln, NH (Feb. 2, 2017) – February is traditionally one of the snowiest months of the year at Loon – and one of the most exciting. As we forge our way into the new month, we have our sights set on a February Vacation Week (Feb. 18-26) filled with fun events for the whole family.
Saturday, Feb. 18
Lil’ Plankers
A high-energy jump jam in which skiers ages 14 and under roll giant dice to create tricks and get their sessions going. Loon team freeskiers will be there to ride alongside kids and keep the enthusiasm high. Free entry. Valid lift ticket or season pass required.
Saturday Après
After a long day on the slopes, let loose with DJ Stevie B in the Paul Bunyan Room. 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. No cover, 21+.
Bunyan’s Legendary Nights: Cole Robbie Band
Head over to the legendary Paul Bunyan Room for a night of Grateful Dead-inspired Americana by The Cole Robbie Band. Doors open at 9 p.m. No cover, 21+. Sponsored by Bud Light.
Sunday, Feb. 19
Lil’ Tweakers
A laid back mini-jump event for snowboarders ages 14 and under. Riders will spin the Crab Grab Wheel of Grabs and go for maximum style on all types of grabs, from indy to truck-driver to UFO. Loon team riders will be on hand to demonstrate new grabs and give tips. Free entry. Valid lift ticket or season pass required.
USASA Superpipe
Watch as some of New England’s best young skiers and snowboarders vie for top honors in New Hampshire’s only Superpipe.
Wednesday, Feb. 22 – Friday, Feb. 24
Fluorescent Nights
Make the most of February vacation by lapping the Burton Progression Park and Little Sister Park during this three-night event. We’ll keep the lights on for you. 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Purchase your nightly tickets at the Tubing Center. Tickets are required, even for season passholders.
Thursday, Feb. 23
Camp III Snowshoe & S’mores Après Party
When the lifts shut down for the day, guests will ride the Seven Brothers Triple and take a guided snowshoe tour down to the Camp III lodge. After working up an appetite, participants will feast on a delectable spread of hors d’oeuvres – plus hot cocoa and s’mores, of course. 4:15 p.m. to 7 p.m. Call 1-800-229-5666 or visit any Information Desk to reserve your spot.
