About:
The Greenstock Snowsports Snowmobile Club covers the towns of Greenwood, Woodstock, Bethel, and the Townships of Albany and Milton in the picturesque western Maine mountains. The club maintains and grooms a network of 70+ miles of trails and oversees the maintenance and grooming of an additional 30 miles of trails in Bethel. Our trail system connects riders from the north/south and east/west through some of the most picturesque areas with views of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range, the Mahoosuc Mountains, Sunday River Ski Resort, Mount Abram and Shawnee Peak ski areas. Our trails connect to trails in Newry, Rumford and the White Mountain National Forest enabling you to access the trails throughout the State of Maine, New Hampshire, and into Canada. Trail groomer The mission of the club is to promote and expand the sport of snowmobiling in Western Maine. This involves yearly major trail improvements including bridge replacements and repairs and re-routes as they become necessary. This is all done with the help of volunteers and several fundraisers.

The club had 50+ members last year and we are always looking for other interested snowmobilers that share the same goals as others in the club. Although we work throughout the year, we have several fun activities during the riding season including a Progressive Dinner ride, several club rides, and a Women’s Only ride. We also have a lot of fun during our fund raisers which include at least one yard sale and the annual Christmas tree sale. We do have limited park-n-ride space available at the Davis Park lot on Route 26 and at the Parkway parking lot on Route 2 (next to Dunkin Donuts). Come and enjoy yourself on our trail system but please remember that you are on private property. Trail access is thanks to the generosity and willingness of private landowners. Please respect the rights of the landowners to ensure the future of our sport. Be careful, ride in control and ride right.
