Vermont’s snowy Northeast Kingdom next stop for Rock Maple Racing
Recent snowfall sets tone for great track at Young Farms
HAMPSTEAD, N.H. (Feb. 11, 2020) — While much of late January and early February were lacking in natural snowfall throughout the northeast, recent storms in the higher elevations of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom have set the stage for some exciting snowmobile racing in the days ahead.
The normally quiet and rural town of West Glover will roar to life this Saturday, Feb. 15, as Rock Maple Racing (RMR) descends on the beautiful Young Farms for Round 3 on the six-race 2020 campaign. Spectators gates will open at 8 a.m., with racing getting under way promptly at 9 a.m.
Admission is $10 per day for adults, while children age 10 and under are admitted free. This weekend’s RMR Cross Country series event is presented by several fine local sponsors, including Northpoint Chrysler/Jeep/RAM, Vianor Tire & Auto Service, The Farmyard Store, Martha’s Diner, Desrochers Crane Service, Royer’s Mini Mart, Walt’s Sales & Service and The Parker Pie Company.(more…)
