Eagle Lake Winter Riders
P.O. Box 294
Eagle Lake, ME
Our club is responsible for maintaining the trails to the north and south of Eagle Lake—north from Eagle Lake to Carter Brook (ITS 85N), south from Eagle Lake to Portage Lake (ITS 85S), and west from Eagle Lake to Pushineer Pond (120, formerly 85D). In all, we maintain over 75 miles of trails and the work starts long before the snow flies.
Before winter volunteers are working on the trails preparing them for the upcoming season—cutting brush, repairing bridges, erecting signs, maintaining landowner relations, etc. Once the season starts, volunteers run the groomer at all hours of the day and night. We hope you find our website informative and helpful, and invite you to sign our guest book and enjoy our trails!
